Skin induction therapy, or dermarolling, involves the insertion of a rolling or stamping device into the surface of the skin in order to induce collagen growth. In Dermarolling, microscopic wounds are created that stimulate collagen and elastin production. To achieve the best results, select a needle size of 1.0 and 1.5mm. 0.5mm derma rollers are suitable for treating skin that is thinner, such as the face, neck and other body parts. As well, derma rollers can harbor harmful bacteria that can cause infections, breakouts, and aggravate skin conditions such as rosacea, which causes redness and bumps on the face, eczema, which causes itchy inflammation spots, and melanomas, which are brown spots on the face.
It takes 15 to 20 minutes
Collagen is naturally formed over a period of one or two months, so it is important to take two treatments that should be separated by at least six weeks.
It can harbor bacteria that cause infections, breakouts, and even trigger skin conditions like Rosacea, epidermolysis bullosa, eczema, and melasma in some cases.
It takes 24 hours to get back to normal.
It takes 4 and 6 weeks to fully develop.
Numbing cream should be applied to your face an hour before your appointment.
Binishaz’s aesthetic treatments provide you with a world-class aesthetic look with products and professionals of the highest quality. These treatments include Dermal Roller, Dermaplaning, Chemical Peels, etc.
After using the roller (you are gently rolling the needles over your skin), you may feel a slight tingle, similar to a sunburn. People with sensitive skin might experience a little soreness afterwards. No downtime is involved with Micro Needling. We recommend that you Derma Roll in the evening and then apply your nighttime skin care routine (don’t wear make-up immediately after Derma Rolling).
You might also see temporary redness for a few days after the procedure. Minor skin irritation is the most common side effect (it feels like sunburn for most people.) Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or have certain skin conditions (like psoriasis or eczema).
Your skin’s sensitivity to treatments and the presence of other treatments will largely influence your decision. You will understand how your skin reacts to the derma roller after using it for the first time. Start with derma roller use once a week and continue to increase the frequency to twice a week once you have established a routine. Derma Rollers should not be used every day.
Needles create tiny punctures that create “micro channels,” which allow your skincare products to penetrate deeper into the skin and deliver more powerful results. Post-derma rolling skin care should focus on hydration (not drying), so be sure to use something like Hyaluronic Acid (HA), Vitamin C or a luxurious facial oil. Stay away from Retinoids, physical exfoliants, and the sun.
