PROFHILO
Injecting hyaluronic acid into the skin is an anti-ageing treatment called Profhilo. It is especially beneficial for patients who have started losing their skin’s natural firmness and elasticity, which usually occurs because of aging, but can also be caused by smoking, stress, and environmental factors. Using Profhilo injectable treatments is not restricted as it can be used to prevent crepey or aging skin as well as to deeply hydrate the skin. The Clinic uses it primarily to correct signs of aging on the face, neck, chest, and hands. During several weeks, you will notice a gradual improvement in your skin’s quality and a lifting and tightening effect.
PROCEDURE TIME
It takes approximately 45 minutes for the full procedure.
DURATION OF ACTION
A maximum result can be achieved by having two sessions (one month apart). Nevertheless, severe skin problems might need a third session two months after the second. One treatment session is recommended every six months in order to maintain the results.

PROCEDURE
- Informed consent requires information on the procedure, the clinical and aesthetic benefits, the risks, the aftercare process, and consent. According to the number of areas being treated as well as whether a local anesthetic is needed, the actual treatment will take about 30 minutes.

A fine needle is used to inject Hyaluronic Acid into five specific areas of the face. Anesthetic cream is applied prior to the procedure. It takes 30 minutes to complete the procedure once you have given consent and photos have been taken. In general, it is not uncomfortable.
The skin is very well tolerant of Hyaluronic Acid. Aside from mild swelling and bruising at injection sites, there are no reported side effects. This typically goes away within a few days and is caused by the needle, not by the product itself. In February 2015, Profhilo was launched in Italy. This software is now being used all over the world. Profhilo is extremely biocompatible since it is made of natural, ultra-pure Hyaluronic Acid, which does not require the addition of chemical crosslinkers. Adverse reactions are therefore reduced.
Profhilo treatments are relatively painless and require little downtime. The product will result in a localized bump on each side of the face when injected using the five-point technique.
