A dermal filler is also known as an injectable implant, soft tissue filler, lip filler or wrinkle filler. FDA-approved, it is used to smooth and/or plump up the facial features, including nasolabial folds. Nowadays, an injectable dermal filler is the most commonly used method to augment the lips.
